Most of my creative efforts outside of the day job recently have been around the home... taking advantage of the good weather to strip an overgrown and frankly out of control garden, back to a blank canvas. My workspace too has had a considerable spring clean and make over which should improve my future output.
In the meantime, I've had this idea running around in my head for a while, questioning the true meaning about things we take for granted. Not being a religious type, Easter to me represents a couple of days off work, falling nicely as it does between Christmas and a summer break. From a retail point of view it begins in earnest on February 15th and this image is in response to that really.
I was going to do a follow up piece featuring a creme egg nailed to a block of wood but unfortunately, the egg didn't make it that far...
